The two exploration licences granted in September 2005 have been relinquished on the basis that previous had exhausted the probability of locating high grade strandline deposits beneath the modern dune systems.

A new exploration licence has been applied for west of the original E09/1182 targeting the older parts of the dune system several kilometres inland from the existing coastline.
